Jairo and Naomi Figueroa dreamed of building a church with a simple goal: helping people connect with God so they can reach their full potential.

 

ACTS Christian Church began on February 2012, after over 50 years of being called Iglesia de Dios Pentecostal Maranatha. In that same year during the 21 days of a Daniel Fast, the Lord focused Pastor Jairo on the mission and purpose of the early Christian Church of the book of Acts in the Bible: in loving God, our community, and the Great Commission.

 

With the help of our Dream Team, a group of committed workers and volunteers, we are committed to Christian living the way it was originally intended. ACTS Church is actively focused on connecting the “un-churched” community by building relationships through small groups and at Sunset Park Community Center. We believe that the life-transforming message of the Gospel, the passion and joy of Sunday services, and the simple style of ACTS Church will help you Know God, Find Freedom, Discover Purpose and Make a Difference.
